When God Works In The Quiet

A Gentle Return My Beautiful Souls 💛

It has been a little while, longer than I expected, actually. And I want to begin here: I truly missed you. I missed sharing. I missed reflecting in real time. These past three months were not planned silence; they were lived moments. Family needed my presence. New opportunities required my focus. Certain doors opened that demanded maturity, discernment, and courage. I wasn’t absent because I had nothing to say, I was growing through things that needed to settle before they could be shared. And even if it feels late to say it… Welcome to this new year. Not with pressure to reinvent yourself overnight. Not with fireworks and noise, but with intention. With fresh perspective. With quiet courage. Anchored in the Promise

This season, one verse carried me: Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him…” Not in some things. Not only in the easy things. In all things. There were moments I didn’t fully understand what was unfolding. New experiences stretched me. Responsibilities refined me. Opportunities challenged me to step higher. However, that verse kept whispering to my heart: this is working for you, not against you. Even the uncomfortable parts. Even the waiting seasons. Even the silence that feels unfamiliar. Sometimes faith is not loud. Sometimes it is simply choosing to trust that what God is building behind the scenes will make sense in time.

Growth That Doesn’t Announce Itself

Growth doesn’t always look dramatic. Sometimes it looks like stepping back to strengthen your foundation. Sometimes it looks like choosing your children over your calendar. Sometimes it looks like preparing privately so you can walk confidently later.

I have been moving, maybe not visibly here, but intentionally in life. And I feel it. I feel different. Clearer vision. Stronger boundaries. Deeper faith. There is something powerful about allowing God to rearrange things without explaining every step to the world.

Not every season needs an announcement. Some seasons simply need obedience.

Your New Beginning Is Not Late

So, if your year has started quietly… if you feel behind… if you needed time to recalibrate, you are not late. You are becoming. New beginnings don’t expire in January. They begin the moment you decide to trust that everything, even the detours, somehow, is being woven together for your good. I am stepping into this season renewed, grounded, expectant. And I invite you to do the same. Walk forward without comparing yourself, without apology, without rush. Anchored in the promise that what is unfolding is not random, it is purposeful.

We’re just getting started. Anchored and advancing, Laurie B.
