Small Steps, Big Changes

My Beautiful Souls 💛
Sometimes we get so focused on the finish line that we forget how powerful those first little steps are. We dream big, pray hard, and wait for that “big moment”, the one that changes everything. But truthfully? Change often comes quietly, through everyday faith and obedience.
When I began Bold & Blessed Mompreneur, I didn’t have all the tools, the time, or even a clear map of where it would go. What I did have was a desire to start, to write one post at a time, to show up every Saturday, and to honor the vision God placed in my heart.
There were days when progress felt invisible. When I wondered, “Does this small effort really matter?” But Zechariah 4:10 reminded me, “Do not despise these small beginnings.” Therefore, God rejoices to see the work begin. Not when it’s finished, not when it’s perfect, but right there, at the beginning. Those early steps, learning Canva late at night, writing with a toddler playing beside me, hitting “publish” on my first post, were seeds. Small, faithful seeds that didn’t seem significant at the time but were preparing something greater.

Sometimes we underestimate the beauty of slow growth. We want instant results, but God builds roots before He shows us branches. He uses discipline, patience, and consistency to develop not just what we’re building, but who we’re becoming. Each post, each prayer, each hour spent learning, it all adds up. Small doesn’t mean insignificant. It means intentional.
So, if you’re in your season of beginnings, whether you’re starting a business, a blog, a fitness journey, or simply trying to find your rhythm as a mom, take heart. You’re not behind, you’re being built.
Heaven Celebrates Your Small Steps
The world might not notice yet, but God sees your effort, your faith, your perseverance. He’s not asking for perfection, just partnership. So, keep moving forward, one small step at a time. Because one day, you’ll look back and realize, those little steps created big changes.

Reflection
What small step did you take this week that deserves to be celebrated? Share it in the comments or whisper it in prayer. Heaven is rejoicing already.
With love and faith, Laurie B.

The small step I took today was reading. I took a quiet moment to myself. No cleaning, no cooking, no overthinking. Took a nice shower and read quietly with a candle lit in my room. Feels good. Tomorrow is another day. I am blessed
