We Were Never Meant to Walk This Journey Alone

Hello, My Beautiful Souls 💛
There are seasons in this journey of motherhood and entrepreneurship when the silence feels heavy. We smile through it, keep going, tell ourselves we’re fine, but deep down, we know something’s missing. I’ve learned (and continue to learn) that we were never meant to walk this journey alone.
God Designed Us for Connection
From the very beginning, God designed us for community. He knew that our hearts would need people, not just to celebrate our victories, but to lift us up when the load feels too heavy to carry.
Through my life journey, I thought I had to do it all on my own. I wore “strong” like a badge of honor, juggling motherhood, faith, projects, and the long list of “shoulds.” But over time, I realized that isolation doesn’t equal strength. True strength is learning to open your heart, ask for help, and allow others to walk alongside you.
The Word reminds us in Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 (NIV):
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.”
This verse declares that we thrive better when we share the journey, when we allow our stories, our prayers, and our lessons to connect us.

Finding Your Circle of Support
Community doesn’t always have to be big; it just needs to be real. It can look like a friend who checks in every week, a faith group that prays together, or an online space where women cheer each other on.
If you’ve been longing for a circle that understands your dreams and challenges as a mompreneur, here are a few gentle ways to start building it:
Pray for divine connections. Ask God to lead you to people who align with your faith, values, and purpose.
Be open and honest. Sometimes vulnerability is the bridge that forms lasting bonds.
Join communities that pour into you. Whether it’s a local group, a church ministry, or an online platform, look for spaces that feed your spirit, not drain it.
Give before you receive. Offer encouragement, share wisdom, and celebrate others genuinely, that’s how authentic support grows.
When we step out of isolation and into connection, something shifts, our faith deepens, our ideas grow, and our hearts rest knowing we’re not alone.
To Every Mompreneur Reading This…
To the mom who’s dreaming about starting something new, you can do this. You don’t need to have it all figured out. Just take that first step and trust that God will meet you there.
To the one who’s just beginning, keep showing up. Growth takes time, and grace covers every misstep.
And to the seasoned entrepreneur, thank you. You’re paving the way for others. Your experience, your wisdom, and your resilience are all testaments to what faith and perseverance can do.
No matter where you are in your journey, please remember this: You are not alone. God walks with you, and there’s a sisterhood of women out here cheering you on, myself included.

Gratitude from My Heart to Yours
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. Thank you for reading, for showing up, for taking a moment out of your precious day to connect here with me. Every comment, every message, every visit to this blog reminds me that this community is living proof of God’s design, that we’re better together.
I am so grateful for each of you, for the way you inspire me to keep writing, to keep believing, and to keep walking boldly in faith and purpose.
Something Special Is Coming…
Stay tuned, my beautiful souls, I’m preparing something heartfelt and meaningful just for our B&BM community. It’s something that will allow us to grow, encourage, and lift one another in even deeper ways. In the meantime, I invite you to share this post with another mom, friend, or entrepreneur who might need a reminder that she doesn’t have to do it all alone. Because together, we rise higher.
Before you go, I’d love to hear from you! Leave a comment or a word of encouragement down below, or even a question or idea you’d love me to talk about in future posts. I’ll read each one and gladly take the time to reply. Your words matter here. This is our community.
With love, gratitude, and unwavering faith,
Laurie B.
